"If you have to judge me, please judge by my writings instead of my appearance. Wearing hijab doesn’t make me sinless. It doesn’t mean I pray enough, it doesn’t mean I’m a role model, it doesn’t mean I’m better than anyone. Wearing hijab is simply me submitting myself to Allah. It’s inevitable to stereotype but as a friend once said: Look what’s IN my head, rather than what’s ON my head."
If Allah brings you to it, He will bring you through it. In Happy moments, praise Allah. In Difficult moments, seek Allah. In Quiet moments, worship Allah. In Painful moments, trust Allah. In Every moment, thank Allah.
Islam is a way of life, try it. Islam is a gift, accept it. Islam is a journey, complete it. Islam is a struggle, fight for it. Islam is a goal, achieve it. Islam is an opportunity, take it. Islam is not for sinners, overcome it. Islam is not a game, don’t play with it. Islam is not a mystery, behold it. Islam is a promise, fulfill it. Islam is a duty, perform it. Islam is a treasure (the Prayer), pray it. Islam is a beautiful way of life, see it. Islam has a message for you, hear it. Islam is love , love it.”
"Islam is not what Muslims do, but what Muslims should do. And to know what they should do, one needs to learn what are in fact the teachings of Islam. Then after knowing that, then you judge Muslims in accordance with what Islam is. Not to judge Islam in accordance with what Muslims do"
"The shortest distance between a problem and its solution is the distance between your knees and the floor. The one who kneels to Allah can stand up to anything."
